How can Crisalix 3D Simulation help you choose Breast Implants?
Choosing the correct implant is both art and science. As a specialist breast surgeon I have operated on thousands of women and have an expert level of experience with aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. I have an eye for detail and understand what makes a breast beautiful. Every body has a unique starting point for breast enlargement surgery. My skill and judgement is used to assess how to transform your starting point into the optimum breast for your body. This is based on a detailed analysis of your breast measurements and tissue characteristics, and my knowledge as to what works well and what doesn’t. Once I have reached a judgement over the type, size and style of breast implant it is necessary to communicate this result to you. I have used many tools over the years, but the most sophisticated that is now available is 3D surface imaging. This involves capturing a 3D real time image of your upper body in clinic, and transforming it into a 3D image that can be viewed form different angles, measured to detail small differences in your breast volume from one side to the other, and even one quadrant of the breast to the other. Then using my planned implant I can enter these details into the Crisalix 3D imaging software which will then transform YOUR body showing you the likely result of the breast enlargement. You get to see your before and after breast enlargement results before you have envy had your surgery. There is no better visualisation technique. This is the best of the best. Whilst it can not give an explicit guarantee, I have found it be be impressively accurate in most of my patients. The Crisalix 3D imaging questionnaire applied to thousands of patients reinforces this. The results are here.
As of October 2017, 2378 patients from 50 different countries representing 449 clinics and surgeons have responded to the entire clinical survey after their Crisalix consultation while 377 patients from 35 countries representing 174 clinics and plastic surgeons have fully completed the post-surgery clinical survey.
Among others, patient clinical data shows that:
- Crisalix 3D simulation post-consultation satisfaction rate is 95%.
- Crisalix 3D simulation is the optimal implant selection tool at 82%.
- Crisalix 3D simulation is the key decision factor for 58% of the patients.
- Time efficiency improved to days for patients deciding for the surgery, compared to years for 86% of patients without Crisalix.
- Crisalix 3D post-surgery satisfaction rate is 99%.
- 97% of the patients felt Crisalix 3D simulation outcome was similar to the real outcome.
Examples of 3D Simulation
Philip Turton uses 3D simulation to help his patients see their potential results and the example shown here is the Crisalix 3D image as determined before surgery seen in front and oblique views and compared to the patient’s actual pre-op and post-op photos. The patient was thrilled with the results of her surgery under Mr Turton’s care and felt the simulation gave her great confidence for the proposed outcome. The results were so realistic after surgery she has allowed Mr Turton to share her photos for his patients to see. To find out more please visit my web-site page on 3D simulation
